    We drove along the Columbia River to our campsite in Stevenson, WA just across the Bridge of the Gods. The landscape changed drastically from arid hillsides to tree-covered rocky cliffs as we drove west. There are railroad tracks along the river on both banks with a highway flanking each track.     So we have come full circle and have gone back to Beacon Rock State Park for camp number six. The 4th of July weekend has been booked for I'm assuming months at the other campgrounds so we were lucky to find a great spot at the nonreservable beacon rock.     Woke up this morning with a whiteout - The Falls were totally invisible due to fog!

    About an hour later just as we were leaving the fog started lifting and I was still able to get some great shots of this awesome place. Would have loved to have spent more time there but time doesn't allow us sadly.
