We drove along the Columbia River to our campsite in Stevenson, WA just across the Bridge of the Gods. The landscape changed drastically from arid hillsides to tree-covered rocky cliffs as we drove west. There are railroad tracks along the river on both banks with a highway flanking each track. Woke up this morning with a whiteout - The Falls were totally invisible due to fog!
