      ... then tried to hitchhike, failed, asked directions at a very sketchy building to then take an even sketchier train back home, it was a great adventure.

      So long story short: I’m having a great time. Many amazing people, plenty of delicious food and lots of fun-filled nights. The thought of "Wait, how did I end up here?" has changed from being a negative one to a possitive one: strange nights out, gettin caught in snowstorms and other things.

      We woke on our first day a little less than relaxed. The sleep was good but not enough to make up for the last day and half. Not to worry, because I am sure we will catch up on sleep over the next few days.       ... from the previous night, has arranged a visit for us to Palazzano winery just outside Orvieto. It is a beautiful estate where we have a tour and then taste a range of wines, including the first viognier I've seen in Italy. It was a lovely afternoon and Simona is a great host.
