      Two days in Roanoke.

Surprised Harry at work on Tuesday, Nov 18. *giggling* thanks Matt!! yes, Matt was the one that instigated it. You just can't trust that Cat in the funny hat! LOL
Awesome meeting Harry. What fun! Too bad you can't come out tonight, but at least I got my hug. ;-)

      Dinner tonight at the Summers'.

The trail continues on and ends at the ...

One stretch was a divided highway, 2 lanes on either side with practically no traffic. The boulevard in between was grassy and dotted with trees dressed in glorious colours of oranges and yellows, looking like great big bouquets of tightly bunched fall chrysanthemums. Many driveways and front yards had lovely ...

... but they weren't open until 10:00am; glad I didn't, as this is really a walking city.

    • Outdoor concerts & street performers everywhere.
    • Took in a movie at an old, restored movie theatre to end the night. Saw "Skeleton Twins" - loved this movie - well done, powerful, emotional.
    • 47 miles.
    • Will wake up in the morning (Sunday), hit my favorite cafe, and figure out where to next!!! ...
