... which is rolling hills covered in shrubbery. Lovely. Cold at times but rain held off until the very end and although the feet were sore and the legs were not going as fast as they should, I did it..with about 300 others and it was good. Tomorrow I am taking it easy, a gentle stroll to the huka falls and a dip in the hot pools along the way and some bungy watching..idiot people! hee ...

We visited Huka Falls and the Craters of the Moon Geothermal Park. Huka Falls is a fairly small water fall, but still worth a visit. There is a path along the Waikato River that lets you hike through a forest. The path was muddy and got a little steep in places, so we didn't go too far.
