... was just the way we like it - uneventful. Our luggage (which we checked but normally do not) was even waiting for us on the carousel! We were off to a terrific start!
The resort we have been staying at is nice (but probably more a 4 star by North American standards) and the guests are all Indian aside from us and an older British couple. Not much to report today. We have an early breakfast and walk to the beach. Snorkelling proves pretty fruitless on this sandy bottomed beach although I do spot a small crab. By 11am the sun is heating up so we dry off and head for a cafe for a nice cold drink. We laze around enjoying the beach views over a nice iced coffee.

It is already Saturday, one week has passed. We headed off to Old Goa to visit a very famous church, St. Francis Xavier, who brought Christianity to Goa in the early 1400's. the church was beautiful and still remains so after 600 years!
