... was just the way we like it - uneventful. Our luggage (which we checked but normally do not) was even waiting for us on the carousel! We were off to a terrific start!
The resort we have been staying at is nice (but probably more a 4 star by North American standards) and the guests are all Indian aside from us and an older British couple. Opting for the shaded pool, the Indians avoid the beach until sunset, so we pretty much have it to ourselves during the day. The sand ...
... not bumped into that many people so far. There was a big group from Australia, England, Sweden and America that just met up along the way so that was cool.
Anyway enough waffling from me now we've moved on since I typed this as we haven't had any wifi for a few days but will update again from the south of India and let you all know how the last week here has gone and then off to Sri Lanka.

It is already Saturday, one week has passed. We headed off to Old Goa to visit a very famous church, St. Francis Xavier, who brought Christianity to Goa in the early 1400's. the church was beautiful and still remains so after 600 years! There's only so much you'll want to read about me relaxing in the sunshine drinking nice fruit juices and the occasional beer before you go and read facebook/the guardian website/reddit again, so I'll keep it brief and let the few pictures I took do the talking.
