... had daily walks along it. We celebrated my 25th birthday on the calm beach, and stuffed our faces with room service, it was a perfect day despite being away from home. The highlight of the hotel was the bed, it was so comfy, it was certainly a struggle to get out of on the checking out day. Not much else to say other than i feel very refreshed and relaxed, back down the star rating we go, were headed for Palolem. Han ...

thoughts are especially with Shaff’s family as his grandfather sadly passed
away 12 days ago, just weeks after a beloved uncle.

It is already Saturday, one week has passed. We headed off to Old Goa to visit a very famous church, St. Francis Xavier, who brought Christianity to Goa in the early 1400's. the church was beautiful and still remains so after 600 years! There were some markets along the road, where we enjoyed a lovely, refreshing coconut! We also headed off to Margao, which is a little shopping district. So amazing how everyone seems to share the road and not ...

... are supposed to be wonderful places - so it would be wrong to judge the entire country on just a couple of places. Nonetheless, I don't think either of us were cut out for such an intense experience as being our first one of travelling. India is definitely better suited to the experienced traveller. People that we have come across who love India and enjoy every part of it must have the patience of a saint and the sensitivity of a rock. It really is hard ...
