... had daily walks along it. We celebrated my 25th birthday on the calm beach, and stuffed our faces with room service, it was a perfect day despite being away from home. The highlight of the hotel was the bed, it was so comfy, it was certainly a struggle to get out of on the checking out day. Not much else to say other than i feel very refreshed and relaxed, back down the star rating we go, were headed for Palolem. Han ...

The tide was going out, but was definitely not at its lowest point so our ******es got wet at the deepest channel (of the river). Opting for the shaded pool, the Indians avoid the beach until sunset, so we pretty much have it to ourselves during the day. The sand ...

... a photo with me. I forgot his. me though! :-/ We have an 11:40 overnight train to Kerala, wish me luck! Leaving this beautiful place is bittersweet. I am excited to see more of India, but this segment of our journey packed in a lot of fun, adventure, and relaxation. All the things a vacation should be. But onward we go, I know I will be fully exhausted by the time we reach home, but this journey continues to amaze and inspire. I want to soak up as much of it as I ...

It is already Saturday, one week has passed. We headed off to Old Goa to visit a very famous church, St. Francis Xavier, who brought Christianity to Goa in the early 1400's. the church was beautiful and still remains so after 600 years! There were some markets along the road, where we enjoyed a lovely, refreshing coconut! We also headed off to Margao, which is a little shopping district. So amazing how everyone seems to share the road and not ...
