      ... Private beaches, houses, causeways, fishermans huts can just be strolled around as at this time of year they are empty. Just one home with an elderly couple watching TV was occupied!! Seemed madness as the sun shone, the sky was clear, a warm day- in England the world and his dog would be out! But there was just us, a few divers, a fisherman and his family and no one else. We had a picnic on the harbour wall,enchanted by the views.

      ... Gaudi tile mosaics, decorative wrought iron, curving walls and many light wells to illuminate all rooms. Just a magnificent building whose roof terrace and attic deserve as much attention as the living spaces and atrium. We returned to Barcelona's old town for a Basque pintxo dinner and a glass of cava (Catalan champagne) before calling it a day.       ... people started discussing going out, but with Issy not well I was a little hesitant. Instead I went up to her room, watched about 40 minutes of a movie and then went to bed and read for a while.       ... muscle shells under her stool. Bathrooms here share a common area with the hand washing sink. Have separate stalls for men & women. So, you can be washing your hands, while a man opens the bathroom door and walks right on in (akward!) All in all, very pleasant time. Never imagined I would be walking the streets of Spain.
