... such as chicken feet, dates, prawns, fish, mushrooms, cabbage and the most popular was a type of braised pork coated in a dark sweet sauce which just virtually 'fell apart', our favourite!

After the lunch it was off again to further explore the ancient town and its narrow lanes for a few hours, and improve our Chinese speaking skills and our bargaining skills at the local stores. A great time was had by all!

It was only on Monday that I discovered that we may not have classes on Thursday and Friday, due to sports days at school. Ana and I immediately swung in to action, checking out flights, trains and accomodation, in order that we could spend the weekend with Meg, Jamie and Ana in Hangzhou and Wuzhen.
