... rice with tinned tomato, couscous with tinned tomato...but also lots of other stuff too. Chorizo is going to be in most meals to add a bit of excitment but I´m guessing that I will never want to eat it again by the end of this trip. I have a steak with Roquefort sauce meal planned for halfway as a celebration. We are also hoping to catch some fish on our way...supposedly it is quite easy to catch Tuna and Dorado (?) which ...

Off for Las Palmas today - yes!!! Back to something more real, and something less tacky. We popped over to the store (this time on foot, rather than in the car) to pick up some more milk to finish off the cereal. We also grabbed some juice, ham, cheese, and buns to make sandwiches for later. We re-traced our drive from last night - a lot less impressive during the daytime, because now you could see the rampant over ...
Las Palmas, Spain pwong... bit as good as their English- and have for many years. The odd thing is that I backed down and allowed it, though I certainly wouldn’t go back; it IS my money after all and I don’t particularly appreciate being ‘made’ for a tourist. With the possible exception of TJ, that’s probably the only time that’s happened. Such behavior is typical in Thailand, and I usually refer to it as ‘ ...
No verão seguinte.. 2006, portanto.
É verdade, a ...
... 6 mph. And a week later when a customs launch boarded us in our new anchorage, we thought we were destined for 45 years hard labour in a Canarian cave because we hadn´t paid 42 Euros in Las Palmas. Luckily, they didn't care, or have a clue what we were talking about... So here we were on the South Coast of Gran Canaria, in an anchorage which all the sailing guides says doesn´t exist, consequently its very quiet and close knit, almost too close knit! If a new boat ...
