Our destination is Amana Colonies in Amana, IA. This is an historic German town that we stopped briefly on our trip to Alaska in 2012. The town closes up at 5:00 pm so we decided to come back and stay a few nights to check it out. More tomorrow on our venture into town.

We enjoyed our stay here, although the days were hot, humid and lazy, but quietly relaxing. One of my favorite pastimes was watching Fox try to catch a ground squirrel.
