... the Herbert Hoover Library, we are headed for Missouri Valley, IA. Weather has been wonderful, and we are hoping that the weather won't turn ugly as we head West.
Looking for good barbecue as we travel, but haven't found much yet. Basically, there are Cracker Barrel restaurants on the highway along the way. We are seeing lots of retired folks with their RV's ---- hey wait - that's what we are!!! Anyway, passing through pretty country. More later. ...
... Pinicon Ridge Campground. This is a county park that I first stayed at back BC (Before Charlie). It is a great place with level sites, lots of space, grassy lawns, and a river runnig thru it. It has bikng and walking trails and a bathouse that is very well kept. I had held a Get Together for single folks at this park a year ago, so it holds a lot of good memories..
I am paid up for 10 days so I will be sitting for awhile....Life is really good..
The kids came over for breakfast today. We had pancakes and bacon. It was quite a coach full with Sheila, Lisa, Izzie, Dave, Mousse, and I. Not much room to move around. At least we could keep our eye on Izzie and Mousse. It turns out that Lisa and Dave spent time with Mousse as Sheila and I spent quality time with Izzie. ... vet, we also had an identification chip implanted.
After the vet visit, we headed to Lisa and Dave’s. We had a chance to babysit Izzie until Lisa came home. Once Lisa got home we headed to the coach for dinner.
