... bearing, Parachute, Canal locks, Double hulled boats, he thought of them all and loads more hundreds of years before anyone could actually make them, never mind think them up. Pretty impressive. Oh, and of course he managed to find time to knock up the most recognisable and famous painting in the world as well.

... We were happy that we were travelling south because there was very heavy traffic heading north. The only time we had to drop our speed from the maximum 70 miles per hour was when we encountered road works and upgrading of the motorway and there is quite a bit of that going on.

The entrance into Falmouth was a little unnerving as Bruce negotiated very narrow streets with cars parked on the footpath and oncoming traffic. ...

The weather on Thursday morning was a bit overcast and drizzly as we drove out of Cardiff heading west towards the Welsh Town, Neath, where Bruce’s great great grandmother, Margaret Jenkins was born in the early 1800s. ... the process of remodeling the old stone house. It is beautiful. There are still meat hooks in the kitchen. She has kept the old pump (doesn't work). Slate entryways were worn just like the wood entryway at the Ellingson homestead. She has 2 daughters 15 years younger than mine. The Dunstaple Rum & Raisin ice cream was superb.
