... looked back and noticed the hill was made out of pages. Layers of phone books and hundreds of newspapers had been piled up for so long that they had partially decomposed into the earth. My grandma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family yesterday early afternoon. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes and prayers.
Today is John and my 13th wedding anniversary. A bit bittersweet, but pretty wonderful to spend it with family. Our family bought us a gift card to a local restaurant for an anniversary dinner tonight. There is so much love here right now.

... we travelled on to the KOA. Was a pretty nice campground. Very friendly staff. Well maintained. There was a Wet Hayride that night, but not for us! (If u had little kids they'd prly love it. They drove people thru the campground in a hay wagon. People on board as well as on the ground were armed with water balloons). I'm sure the kids had fun! We have arrived home, but before that, spent the last week visiting relatives in Indiana. Toured most of the state. Timing was right to visit Lance's dad at the funeral home :(, but saw many relatives and enjoyed the time together.
