Portugal is rapidly becoming our favorite place in the world. Why, you ask? Three reasons: interesting and beautiful beaches, pitchers of sangria and flavorful, fresh seafood. We made it back to Jade eventually, although with quite a lot of difficulty, assuming that the wind would die down overnight as the heat of the day faded, but once again we found ourselves with strong winds all night. Not quite as bad as Sagres, in fairness, as we both slept well, but definitely not what we were hoping ...

It was actually an easier journey than expected. We were able to use our spinnaker again for most of the day, and the swell wasn't as bothersome as we had expected.
