It was a dull, cloudy day with threats of rain and we walked around the grounds and visited the various buildings. Here, as in most of these reconstructed historical settings, there were people dressed in period costume ready to tell us about life in the old days....and demonstrate how people did things. Friday night we had another great campfire and spent time swapping adventure stories with the Deal family that had just come back from Frontier Days out in Wyoming.
