... place with a lot of trickling water and chirping frogs. Mostly we drove through, which was a convenient and acceptable way to view the towering trees from the comfort of our seats.
The first thing we found was La Coca Falls, which is a tall rock face covered with a thin sheet of water, right by the side of the road. This allowed us to get out, stretch our legs, and enjoy the beautiful weather. Down in San Juan the heat is oppressive, but in El Yunque, the bit ...

One thing I really wanted to do before I leave is go to the Bioluminescent Bay, where the sky and the water are reversed, where you can see the stars glittering in the water. There are 6 Bioluminescent Bays in the world and 3 of them are in Puerto Rico. I would be stupid if I didn't experience it.

    Upcoming Upcoming Upcoming

My upcoming plans are to go film a documentary with my supervisor about a local coffee maker (the best around according to him). I am really looking forward this shoot, of course because of the coffee, but also because I will get to meet locals and learn about how they live. Life is pretty good right now

    Until next time,

As a family living full time on a floating house, we have assigned jobs around the house. David is responsible for boat systems, maintenance and all her curvaceous parts (mistress?). The kids help with the dishes, cleaning, act as fender roamers and sometimes with the day watches on long passages. I take care of the cooking, cleaning, laundry, provisioning, act as the nurse and ...

... and I hopped into my instructor Alex’s car to drive down to “the Steps” of Rincon. Alex brought along a girl friend that was also experienced, but I didn’t mind the company since I was the only tourist of the group anyway. The sands of the beach were scalding hot, like literally first degree burns on the bottom of my feet. Yet the native Puerto Ricans, Alex and his friend, got along ...
