... did just that! We had already driven nearly 500km that day and it was getting dark by the time we found a campsite so we didn't get up to much there. It was much more comfortable sleeping in the van as its getting warmer the further north we go. <br><br>We got on the road early the next morning. It seems the heavy rains in Sydney last week were nothing compared to what they got up around here. A lot of towns got badly flooded and ...
Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia alandrach...
Arrawarra, New South Wales, Australia pacificocean... Rocks we head straight to Coffs Harbour and check in at the Park Beach Tourist Park http://www.coffscoastholidayparks.com.a u/park-beach-holiday-park at about 2pm. <br><br>Once settled in to our home for the night, we go down to the beach. As we arrive, the lifeguard is just leaving and the sea looks a little too wild for our comfort, so we enjoy the view and ...
Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia claireandmark... intact) and before I knew it, I had arrived. Coffs Harbour seems very quiet, but I'm going to go out for a walk now and see what there is to see. I'm sharing with five girls, and one of them, a German girl called Katerina, is very good company and very interesting (she speaks near-perfect English, and is also fluent in Spanish and French because she lives really near the Swiss border and her boyfriend is Argentinian). There is also ...

Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia katfoe... sun shines on it. As we had lost a day sitting in the rain, we killed off a couple of hundred kilometres (without going very far on our atlas!) and ended up in Anna bay just south of Port Stephens. This area is famous for the sand dunes (apparently they are the biggest in the southern hemisphere) and old dudes surfing which was quite funny to watch! We headed up to the Myall lakes national park which was very pretty. Fortunately Australia ...
Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia matt-bels... confused too. Claire did a bit of the driving during which time we found one of the strangest petrol stations during our trip. We pulled up to find two old pumps with signs on them saying 'we are old and delicate - please ask for assistance'. After a moment or two a woman appeared from within the roadhouse asking if we wanted some fuel - funny that. She toddled over to the pump and started filling the car with the cheapest, ****** 91 grade petrol as she ...
Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia clairechris2008... like that, 25000 or something. It was a pretty long walk. By the time I reached the end of the island it was an absolute downpour. It was horrible. I was drenched and worst of all I didn't see hardly and birds because they were all hiding from the rain. Best part of the day was that we got our hostel to ourselves and I got a good nights sleep and was able to watch some TV and take my first shower in a few days.
