... right down the beach, and to be honest we were a little disappointed so didn't go in for a drink. Instead we walked onto the town road to ask around for a boat ticket. We managed to haggle a ticket down to a very good price so just got them there and then. We took our time walking back to the hotel then as we were quite far away, but we had to make a quick dash back by taxi when Cerys' belly was ...

... we returned to the hotel. The next day Kish, Sima, Baa, Mortipen and I went for a massage. In the afternoon Sima, Nikhita and I visited one of Bangkok’s many shopping centres in the hunt for converse. Usually knock-off converses are everywhere. Except when Rahul wants a pair!! Shreeta (Kish’s sister) arrived and we went to a night market by the river. Although it was pleasant to walk around, it was quite upmarket and not the kind of stalls that we were ...

... a 5 minute drive from our hotel. If you hadn't deciphered from the name, it's a big Buddha, which sits at the top of some stairs, and has a walkway around it, with about 15 bells, which you 'dong' with a big stick. That's about it really, we went and saw it, rang the bells and made our way back, but we did see a lovely sunset, which I think Koh Samui is famous for. On our way back we did visit a local market- this was is mistake as it stank to high heaven, and ...

... the night. Once the group was painted and the cameras were put away it was time to head into the party. To sum up the full moon party – buckets, a sea of illuminous people, more buckets, ring of fire, limbo of fire, water slide, more buckets and dodgy street pizza!!! All the girls had a few goes down the waterslide and Marian and I even managed to spot another fellow Where's Wally going down the slide late in the night. I decided the limbo of fire was calling ...
