We thought that like in most Australian hotels where a billiard table exists for recreational purposes, that i Bangkok these bars had a table tennis table in them. ... were lots of monks about in this temple. The artwork on one wall was apparently older than some of the artwork we'd seen already during the day but had been painted over to keep it restored. It was nice that the art was clear to be appreciated. We enjoyed the beauty of the art and the Buddha images. Gayoon involved herself in a conversation with the monks. We walked to the end of the boardwalk and got a beautiful view of the mangroves and mud flat and sea beyond that. It was very peaceful out there and apart from the biting ants, we could have stayed there for hours. We regretted not taking our picnic to the end with us but ate it when we got back to the car.
