We then took a minibus to Trat, which is about one and a half hours from the boarder and a small city where you get the boat to get to Koh Chang.     Got an epic overnight bus from Chiangmai to Bangkok, dodgiest bus and drivers ever!! So thankful that journey was over. Thankfully we had decided to fly to Trat so went to the airport and waited for our flight. Met Steph there who had flown in the night before. Plane wasn't too busy and we were in the air for 50mins plus we got a fresh towel, drink and a 3course meal, pretty impressive on such a small flight. Arrived at Trat airport and it was tiny.
