Slept really well, motels are getting cheaper only paid $20 each for that one; still having to share a bed with George though. Drove on South passing through Daytona beach where we took the Mustang on the beach. Managed to get stuck at one point in sinking soft sand, saved by our flip-flops which gave the Stang enough traction to un-stick itself. Driving down the beach we got our new kite flying out the back of it. Leaving the beach Josh drove on South to Kennedy Space Centre. Josh had ...

... before 4pm at the BB&T centre in Sunrise FL for an 8pm show to collect our tickets, little did we know at the time but we just got out of paying 20 bucks for parking as they closed the parking at 4! So we opted to leave our car there and walk across to the sawgrass mills mall- the largest single story mall in the US. We wandered around for a while and had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory (thanks to liars for ...

I woke up at 8:10 and sat in bed and blogged about our first day. Erin woke up about 8:30 thinking I couldn't sleep and that was why I was up. She then got up when she realized what time it was. We got dressed and went downstairs to the Grab-n-Go to get some breakfast. We got croissant sandwiches and corn muffins (for later). We found a table at the bar by the pool and sat to eat our breakfast. Then we went back to the room, packed, checked out, and checked ...

Fort Lauderdale tour

... This was a typical hard sell - must buy today special offer just for you- we stalled and the cost went from 21,000 to a final offer of 5,000 - we declined - better deals in Australia for weeks and not as good as the silver lake resort.

We missed the canal tour so we had a drive down town thru the canals ...

... all means. Her flight was earlier than mine, and I wasn’t really all that worried. And I wasn’t.

Okay, just had a long chat with Bob and Nancy from Chicago, but I’m back.

So, I made it to the gate with no problems. I was relieved to learn that my new bag weighed only 43 pounds. I had been taking two bags and so I wanted to get by with one larger one. That means that I have 7 pounds of stuff I can buy, though I’m ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Cocobelle Resort Fort Lauderdale

    Birthday weekend

    from

I wanted to tell of the wonderful experience I had at the Cocobelle Resort in Ft Lauderdale. I had Family coming to town and wanted to put them at a place near the beach.

    Highly recommendable

    from

Prior to booking we searched the web for an affordable, yet nice hotel close to the beach and discovered that such a place is not that easy to find in Fort Lauderdale! Many beach hotels are either very expensive or have seen better times.

    Nice place to stay

    from

This a great small hotel in a quiet area. The owner has completely and tastefully renovated it. Expect a new and very clean room. Free wireless internet is a great perk. Every one was very nice and you feel right at home.

    Un bel posto

    from

Tutti erano molto carini e ti senti proprio come a casa.

    Un agradable alojamiento

    from

    from

    The place to be...!!!

    from

We stayed at the Cocobelle Resort - Ft. Lauderdale for two nights and we enjoyed ever minute. Even arriving late due to traffic the resort staff gave us a nice "Welcome Home feeling"!!!

The resort is perfectly located and the lovely beach is just a short walk away as well as the "Water Taxi".

Overall it is a nice quiet resort with a personal home-feeling touch - we are soon looking forward to come back for a longer stay!!!

    Immaculate, Great, Up-to-date Style Units!!!

    from

My stay at Cocobelle Resort was GREAT! The Staff was VERY friendly and the room was in great shape. The units are fully furnished and were just recently remodeled. For the price, you really can't go wrong. The location is great, a block away is a great are for nightlife and just about a mile from the famous Las Olas Boulevard.

    THANK YOU COOCOBELLE - PAUL

Apartamentos inmaculados, fantásticos y de estilo moderno

    from

Muchas gracias Coocobelle-Paul.

    Charming, Immaculate and Unique!

    from

I traveled to Fort Lauderdale to attend a party and decided that I would stay overnight. I did not have advance reservations so decided to just drive around the Beach Boulevard section of Fort Lauderdale. There were many places to choose from but when I came to the Cocobelle Resort on Vistamar Street, I knew right away this was going to be the place where I would stay. The appearance of the inn from the outside is the first thing I noticed and when I drove by the Cocobelle, it just reached out to me. It was so impressive and had such ambience, with its Christmas decorations and clean appearance and manicured landscaping that I just knew the rooms would equal the outside appearance and I was right. I was informed that the resort had recently undergone a complete renovation and the decor of the room was first class. It was like walking into a Homes & Gardens magazine. The beds with their ruffled pillows and soft comforters were such a delight to lay in and the bathroom tile was so squeaky clean and as shiny as can be. The furniture and furnishings were just so appealing. I would say my comfort level was at 100% +. In addition, the black wrought iron gate in front was locked at night which made me feel totally secure and of course, the staff were very hospitable and gracious. I have stayed at many different inns and resorts and this one is definitely high on my list of places to return to.
