Historical Traveler Reviews of Cocoa Beach Oceanside Inn Hotel
Deneen at front desk so helpful
from A TripAdvisor Member
I was bumped off a flight at the last minute, and traveled alone to Cocoa with 2 small children during the height of spring break. Deneen at the front desk was so kind and helpful. She is the epitome of service and courteousness.
Wonderful

we have stayed at the oceanside three times now and everything has always been excellent. anything we needed was tended to immediately.
the view is beautiful, overlooking the pier, and our room is always clean. having easy access to the pier is great. the bar downstairs has great drinks and a lovely atmosphere. we won't stay anywhere else in cocoa now that we have been spoiled by the oceanside!
Filthy carpet, inadequate maid service
from A TripAdvisor Member
The bottom of my feet will never be the same again. Within thirty minutes of walking on the carpet, my feet were BLACK. The remaining four days were spent ruining over eight pairs of socks as I'm certain no amount of bleach or soaking will ever render them wearable. The bath mats in the tub/showers were slimy and slippery in both of the adjoining rooms. Maid service doesn't arrive until late afternoon and at best you can trade your towels and assist with trash disposal. If you don't ask, you won't even receive that. The lobby staff was very pleasant and the location and view superb.
Dirty and Damp

We stayed at this hotel for the Halloween Weekend and had a BAD experience ... the hotel was SEVERELY under-staffed .... Imagine staying in the same room for days .. without it being cleaned!
A good choice

We stayed 3 nights over Labor Day Weekend 2003. Found the accomodations to be very nice all things considered. The rooms are clean and spacious. Maid service could be a little more efficient. Complimentary continental breakfast is great - it either tides you over until you walk the 2 short blocks to Perkins for breakfast or for those non-breakfast people it has just what you need. I would recommend this hotel - If you're wanting an oceanfront room, I would not want to be on the 1st floor. You won't be able to see the ocean because of the sand dunes. We had the 2nd floor and it was fine.

I got a great deal on the internet, only to receive the worst room in this place, after complaining they moved us up to the fifth floor still the room was very small, we stayed for 7 nights. Only one suite . Staff was nice.

We stayted at Oceanside Inn for 3 days and loved every second of it! A very tropical feel to the amazing surroundings and a very clean and comfortable room. The view was outstanding of the ocean and the cocoa beach pier! We would recommend Oceanside Inn to anyone.

I found this hotel on the net. AAA gave it a good review as did fordors so I thought I was safe. We arrived in the afternoon and were satisfied that it was clean and right on the beach with a balcony overlooking the ocean. We went out to dinner and came back when it was dark out. I turned on the lights and saw roaches !!! Needless to say we were packed and out of there in about 3 minutes. We got a refund. We paid 90 a night and went down the street to the Hilton which was only 70 a night.
This was the first time I ever booked a hotel that was not a major chain and I don't know if I ever will again as I have never had this happen to me before.
