Deneen at front desk so helpful
I was bumped off a flight at the last minute, and traveled alone to Cocoa with 2 small children during the height of spring break. Deneen at the front desk was so kind and helpful. She is the epitome of service and courteousness.
we have stayed at the oceanside three times now and everything has always been excellent. anything we needed was tended to immediately.
the view is beautiful, overlooking the pier, and our room is always clean. having easy access to the pier is great. the bar downstairs has great drinks and a lovely atmosphere. we won't stay anywhere else in cocoa now that we have been spoiled by the oceanside!
Filthy carpet, inadequate maid service
The bottom of my feet will never be the same again. Within thirty minutes of walking on the carpet, my feet were BLACK. The remaining four days were spent ruining over eight pairs of socks as I'm certain no amount of bleach or soaking will ever render them wearable. The bath mats in the tub/showers were slimy and slippery in both of the adjoining rooms. Maid service doesn't arrive until late afternoon and at best you can trade your towels and assist with trash disposal. If you don't ask, you won't even receive that. The lobby staff was very pleasant and the location and view superb.
Dirty and Damp
We stayed at this hotel for the Halloween Weekend and had a BAD experience ... the hotel was SEVERELY under-staffed .... Imagine staying in the same room for days .. without it being cleaned!
A good choice
We stayed 3 nights over Labor Day Weekend 2003. Found the accomodations to be very nice all things considered. The rooms are clean and spacious. Maid service could be a little more efficient. Complimentary continental breakfast is great - it either tides you over until you walk the 2 short blocks to Perkins for breakfast or for those non-breakfast people it has just what you need. I would recommend this hotel - If you're wanting an oceanfront room, I would not want to be on the 1st floor. You won't be able to see the ocean because of the sand dunes. We had the 2nd floor and it was fine.
I got a great deal on the internet, only to receive the worst room in this place, after complaining they moved us up to the fifth floor still the room was very small, we stayed for 7 nights. Only one suite . Staff was nice.
Tropical, Serene and beautiful!
We stayted at Oceanside Inn for 3 days and loved every second of it! A very tropical feel to the amazing surroundings and a very clean and comfortable room. The view was outstanding of the ocean and the cocoa beach pier! We would recommend Oceanside Inn to anyone.
Great place to stay
I have just stayed for two days at the Cocoa Beach Oceanside Inn. We watched the Space Shuttle launch from the Roof top veiwing deck, it was great! The Hotel and staff were also great I will definetely go there again !

Great Property Love it!!
I have to say that I have stayed there for the last 3 years and have no complaints about the hotel. I will be back at the Cocoa Beach Oceanside again in the new year! can't wait. Its right on the Beach!!

I found this hotel on the net. AAA gave it a good review as did fordors so I thought I was safe. We arrived in the afternoon and were satisfied that it was clean and right on the beach with a balcony overlooking the ocean. We went out to dinner and came back when it was dark out. I turned on the lights and saw roaches !!! Needless to say we were packed and out of there in about 3 minutes. We got a refund. We paid 90 a night and went down the street to the Hilton which was only 70 a night.
This was the first time I ever booked a hotel that was not a major chain and I don't know if I ever will again as I have never had this happen to me before.

This was a lovely little addition into the trip that we hadn't looked into. It was relaxing and reminded us of Mandurah. It is home to the worlds largest surf store which we managed to lose each other in twice. The pier has restaurants on it and a Tiki bar at the very end. We snuck away from ...
... thanks giving but OMG this dinner could have fed a small army!!! There was beans, mashed potato, mashed pumpkin, heaps go stuffing, turkey, cranberry sauce and a bread roll. I was soooo full I had to roll out of the restaurant hahaha. It's one of the guys birthdays tonight so were thinking of going to the strippers tonight :) miss you guys so much ...
... Cocoa Beach is where the Kennedy Space Center is, and so there is a lot of space themed things, even the telephone area code is 321, just like 3-2-1-lift off. Coming into Cocoa Beach across the bridge we could see the place where they keep all of the space shuttles off in the distance which was pretty cool. For dinner we all had a BBQ which was so good just to have a home cooked steak and salad for dinner, and then just hung out by the pool. Some of the guys ...
... a holiday, Adventure and a Magnum White Ice Cream. So far, the adventure quota has been met satisfactorily, but trying to find a Magnum has been a challenge. I've been to LA, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Albuquerque, Amarillo, Oklahoma, Memphis, Lynchburg, Atlanta and Jacksonville, could I get a Magnum in any of those places? Nope! Americans love a sugary fatty treat, but apparently they draw the line at a Magnum. Besides the lack of Magnums, America is ...
... airport before we took off. Luckily this flight was only an hour. Once in Orlando and after getting our luggage, it was time for our 45 minute shuttle ride over to the east coast of Florida and Cape Canaveral. My first thought was sitting in nice coach type seats and relaxing during the drive but no, was going to go down that way at all. It turned out to be the typical shuttle bus with three bench seats that can fit a dozen people. ...
