    Pretty Good

The room had a little bit of a funny smell, even though this is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in for a while. It was good being on the ground floor and quite close to the pool. It is also within a good walking distance from Publix, the beach and a number of other shops which was really good.

    The warm cocoa beach

We arrived at our room for the night in cocoa beach and finally the sun was shininggg :D so the first we had to do was to wander down to the pier ( which was right next to us) and the beach, it was great! However the fact i still had horrendous blisters meant that i had to look like a moron and keep my shoes on so the …

... talk, first a very brief talk about how it only took ten years of applications to get accepted into the program & then the main talk was about food in space. After lunch we headed back to 'Atlant-tits' & did the shuttle launch simulation - a similar type of ride as Mission Space (centrifugey, feel the motion etc) but easier on the senses. A little bit of shopping and then it was goodbye to Kennedy Space Centre. On the way home we ...

Mike and I enjoyed the sunny, warm weather of Cocoa Beach, Florida, this afternoon during our port of call in Port Canaveral. Nothing special here, but it was a nice change of pace from the 30-something-degree weather we left behind in the Mid-Atlantic a couple days ago.

I had terrible all-night insomnia my second night aboard Norwegian Breakaway as we sailed south from New York to Florida. After going to bed at 12:56 a.m., I was unable to sleep ...

We were up early this am and picked up by the driver from El Monte Rv, it was about 20 mins to their yard. When we got there we were processed reasonably quickly then shown over our home for the next two weeks. They had upgraded us to a unit with a retractable side for extra room so we were impressed with that. It is great really clean and new, we should have a fun time in it. It's a big machine and I am glad I had some practice driving a smaller vehicle in LA. We ...

    Embarkation Day

We got up this morning and got ready to head out to the ship. We had continental breakfast in the Orchid Bar then our shuttle picked us up and we headed to All Star Sports to get Laurel and Jana and then Coronado Springs to get mom, dad, Justin, Bethany, Abby and Livy.

After a brief stop at the Boardwalk and the Hess to grab some snacks for the ride we are on our way.

Before we knew it we were on the ship and having lunch in Cabanas. The rest of the day was ...
