... book your stay with all inclusive. Beverages and food are very expensive, and each resort is alone on its island, so you don't have a choise! All inclusive varies from 30-40 to 60-70 dollars/day/person, but even though it sounds much, believe me, it is worth any penny!
Don't forget your sun lotion! The first 2 days we spent there we didn't see the sun, as it was cloudy, and we didn't put any protection on our skin, but we burnt our ...
We say goodbye to Sue at Male airport, as she meets her friend to go to her resort. We are greeted by a lovely man from the W as soon as we walk out of the airport. He takes us in a shuttle to the W Lounge at the sea plane part of the airport... VERY nice! Whilst there, we check into the hotel.... and to our surprise we have a room upgrade, and will now be staying in one of the Ocean Oasis rooms (on the water on stilts). We wait with anticipation ...

Maldives, Maldives cambarI am only doing one entry as I did not do enough for lots! Thudufushi is a beautiful small island which is amazing. The beach is gorgeous, the rooms fabulous, good service, amazing snorkeling and dive sites are close by. We flew with Monarch Airlines which we found were pretty good (the only downside was the movies were on central screens rather than in the headrest). It was ...

Maldives, Maldives gazlu... Hannah learned to scuba dive and Jack snorkeled everyday. He is thinking of becoming an underwater photographer after taking 30 pictures of the same fish underwater with his camera! We met a wonderful family from the UK and had some great adult time as well!!
Maldives, Maldives fleischmann... nice, obviously new guesthouse on the island which charged us $30 per night. The only place to eat was the local café but that was no problem as their food was ok. The island has, however, nothing to offer the tourist. The prime industry is ship building in both wood and fibreglass but the government Drug Rehabilitation Centre dominates the whole island and cuts off the only reasonable beach. It is possible to walk through the sea at low tide to the nearest resort but they charge ...
