    ... the mass off with a very friendly, familial tone. However once the mass was over people were quick to exit and start walking home in groups along the fairly dark streets.

    Thus ended a very pleasant and full weekend, and I have coffee for my suitcase. Come to Saltair for a good cup of coffee!!

    ... gangs.

    Unfortunately we didn't get back to Villa until late so we had no time to hang out on the big soccer field with all the kiddos. Dinner and then dance lessons with Shin and the kids from the Children's Home. I did great!! Well, great at getting video and picture evidence... I learn these dances every summer and still can't remember anything but the basic Bachata. But the volunteers had a blast so that's the most important!

    ... the Easter Vigil. Over and over when Olga asked Melo what he wanted to do, he deferred to her and said "whatever you and the community decide!". Melo found a hammock and has a snooze. I got to know little Roxana, the 6 year old. She was giving her mother a hard time getting her hair brushed and into a pony tail so I told Roxana that I still remembered how to do that and she let me comb her hair and put it into a pony tail that actually looked pretty good.
