    ... people can say they played soccer with the Honduran military, in full arms, while firecrackers and fireworks exploded around them? I do need to say that 5 hours of firecrackers going off within 10 feet of me did start to get a little old after a while.     Yesterday was a particularly wonderful day for RP and ERIC. The new provincial superior, Fr. Rolando, came to the radio station to meet with key people and the core committee. Both the radio and ERIC are apostolates of the Jesuit community. Rolando reaffirmed his admiration of the work being done and his support and that of the Jesuit province for the important work being done. That was like a booster shot for all the workers, to have this support so explicitly stated.
