... We saw more on this one dive than you might see in a week at other popular dive locations. The fact that the house reef was so exciting made us very anxious to get out and explore other prime spots by boat. This was "just" the house reef, after all!
Our other 4 dives were boat dives from the resort's traditional dhoni boat. We experienced some of the best diving sites and conditions either of us have ever experienced. The visibility was always over 75 feet and ...
... One of them tried to attach to me before I surfaced...I totally freaked out! So crazy. But by our third day of diving we had developed a fun rapport with the crew, instructors and other divers. I decided to change my dive suit for just a shorts and lycra top, since the water was really warm with 29 degrees Celsius.
After the dive we got a chance for last minute shopping ...
... was the President's island...enough said.
When we set sail..the local coast guard followed in front and had to move all the local smaller boats out of the way..we had never seen that before...I have no idea what the locals were thinking. We are a small cruise ship..but, we were obviously much larger than them!!
Our next stop is Mumbai.....and it is forecast to be in the hi 90s...yike! It will be a very long day as we are going to the Taj Mahal...and have to fly ...
