    ... scenery all the same and quite different to Dartmoor NP as it is not rocky. At Lynton we parked the car and walked. (Pay and Display is everywhere here.     ... for the lady of the house as a resting place on the hillside, but a grandson brought a black bear back from Canada (as you do) and it lived in the hut. Also had an interesting icehouse where they stored ice collected from the river and elsewhere. It held enough ice to keep the household going for three years.
