Flip flops for the beach and walking around the hotel rooms? A closed clog for when it rains? A nicer pair of heels for nicer dinners out? All of ...

... owned by the Kuna tribe. Owned as in even the Panamanian government can't tell them what to do. Owned as in the islands are named after people in the tribe. One is named Robinson's Island for Robinson. Frank has an island named "Frank's Island." Electricity is scarce on most of them or doesn't exist at all. If electricity doesn't exist, there sure isn't wi-fi or a way to book a stay on one of these places. Some of the Kuna communicate ...
