      Then back to Madison for dinner - a fish fry of course. You can't be in Wisconsin on a Friday night and not go to a fish fry. And a drive around the old neighborhood....this is where I lived during high school.

      ... I broke out our mitts and went out to play catch. It was fun just tossing the ball back and forth.

      We put the mitts away and started walking towards the warbird area when we came upon a group of about 4 kids, running around and laughing.       ... The first other plane we saw in the air was the B-17 when we were turning downwind to runway 27. Amazingly enough, there was a big lull right as we landed.Speaking of runway 27, it turns out that is not the runway I wanted to land on. Although homebuilt camping is just off the far left corner of the runway, I was made to exit to the right and taxi a little over 3 miles (per my GPS) to get to our parking spot.

      ... out from the Serengeti for a short 1 hr flight vs the 8 hrs back across the bumpy terrain in the jeep then you really restrict your weight down to only 33lbs in total gear for that puddle jumper plane. Just saying take in all aspects before jumping into a ticket booking.
