      we take the c-train (about 15min away) $3.00 a ticket and several helpful Calgarians later we visit the fabulous Devonian Gardens - wow - no doubt even better at -20c!!
      On my 'to do' list is to eat Ginger Fried Beef which I have never seen on a menu E of Alberta or W for that matter also - so China town it is - stop a couple of businessmen who look well fed and are chewing on their toothpicks (is that a Western 'thing') and they recommend Regency Gardens so off ...

      ... eagle tail headdress worn by medicine men. Just thought everyone would want to know that....

      Our stay here was brief and involved scrubbing off the splashed bugs from our car (the front of it had begun to resemble camouflage paint) and finding a place to repair our vehicle. Front windshield wash has gone, which can be a problem, since our car is clearly a bug annihilating machine.

      ... There was a bike wash place for charity so i was able to get my bike washed. Lots of bug goo and dirt not to mention all the feathers in my radiator screen from when I hit a...,, well you know.
      We met at a Tim Horton's, by the way they are everywhere, and the food is consistent. From there we headed towards Calgary.
