... here also sells groceries, so we thought we'd see if by any crazy chance they had gf bread. Not so unfortunately. But we did, amongst other things, buy a crazy-big bag of peanut butter cups and kit kats! We are reminded around every corner that Halloween is coming up, and apparently that also means that 'candy' is really cheap, and can be bought in bulk. I am beginning to understand the obesity issue here.

... lots of chairs, towels, umbrellas, balls - even a trolley thing for wheeling the coolbox. Oh - good WiFi too for watching the Ashes on Sky Go. Victoria Beach was 150yds at the bottom of the cul de sac and the parking restrictions were vicious round us, so with our SUV safely parked in the garage we were able to behave like locals and turn our noses up imperiously at anyone trying to drive there. Actually, we only spent some of the time at Victoria ...

... shuttle and pillaged some bottled water and muesli bars which appeared to be available for guests in the hotel lobby.

We jumped on the shuttle and immediately bumped into a mum and daughter from Tokoroa. Marie, the mum, was about our age, and Shantelle, the daughter, was the same age as Danielle. We all got on like a house on fire and they spent the best part of the day with us.

We arrived at Disneyland Park which was what we were tackling today ...

... beach. There's actually a descent of 250 steps from the cliff down to the beach. But because no one does it and everyone hangs at main beach. We had the entire beach to ourselves.

We opened some brews and had a swim. In this beautiful majestic alcove, I found a body board. So we both went out for a surf ( he brought his own ) and kept sinking more brews. After a while he had to get back up north to attend a baseball game. He did invite me, however ...

We also caught up with Aussies, Will Power and Ryan Briscoe.

While we were at the race, Cathy looked after the boys. She took them for a walk and tired them out early. After an afternoon nap she took them tenpin bowling where they whipped her butt. Bahaha.....

Anyway, everyone had a fantastic day on their last day in Anaheim. Tomorrow we're off to San Diego.
