This hotel is a 2 minute walk from the sea, restaurants, shops and Canada Place. The room is big, quiet with very comfy beds with a nice view of the water and mountains with windows spanning the whole length of the wall.

After a 9 hour flight we have arrived in Vancouver. We didn't have any sleep on the plane but managed to stay awake until after 6pm. We booked a whale watching tour for when we come back from the cruise. Tourist information near Canada Place was very helpful! We'd forgotten our binoculars, went to buy some cheap ones nearby.

      We was evicted!!!

It was an eye opener for sure, we attended several calls, all low acuity type work, we also transferred a patient out to the airport to be flown somewhere in the Provence, it was like going back to the future, their Air Ambulance is crewed by a pilot and 2 ALS Paramedics, the aircraft was the old King Air which our RFDS haven't had for around 5 years and the loading apparatus was the lifeport system which once again ...

A few relaxing hours today and we all gather for a meal in the Marriott Hotel this evening. Tonight will complete our driver Darrin's time with us. He is a young man and has been an excellent driver over some difficult terrain, over the last 2 weeks. At dinner this evening he was given a standing ovation. We all felt safe and completely ...
