      Belated Moment of Recognition

... we have now been there, done that, don't ever need to do that again. We lamented as we continued on our journey at not having time to stop at Skytrek Adventures again. That would have been fun. Sigh. We also passed right by the place we'll be going house boating next summer with the family. So excited for that! That is another story for next year though... Did any of y'all know that there is actually a stretch ...

Finally, the day has come where my clock countdown says 0 days, 8 hours remaining! Today was definitely a very hectic day trying to get all last minute supplies and paperwork together. I am not sure if I am looking forward or against the 44 hour flight, but I will get to see many cool places. ... better as we didn't try to kill anyone one or anything, and we made it out of the parking lot without hitting any posts this time. Bonus.

Drive home was lovely and I really understand why dad loved Mt Baker so much it is magnificent and I hope my photos give you all some idea of how beautiful it truly is!

Got dropped off at home and just chilled out until the others arrive back from the Maze. Chilled and and chatted about the day.

... day with Cindy. It was a day of spectacular 360 degree views up in the mountains. The scenic highway drive north up the coast from Vancouver was beautiful with ocean one side and steep rugged mountains on the other.

A 2-3 hour drive had us at Whistler village by about midday where we purchased a day ticket with which we were able to spend the whole day up high on the peaks. The one ticket included all the rides for the ...
