... glider. Who would have thought sailplanes had
attitudes? My lesson was to observe what happens when I put the stick forward,
and observe I did. The nose went down, the horizon popped up and our speed
increased from forty three miles per hour to a very noisy sixty miles per hour.
This increase in speed caused the plane to increase lift so I had to increase
forward pressure on the stick in order to level out. It was logical but I still

So today we've packed up camp & hit the road to Harrison Hot Springs. We basically just picked a place off the map that sounded good and decided to head out there for a few days. Su will be checking the mail at the apartment again on Thursday & I'm hoping our stuff has arrived by then, so we ...

... way below. They were fun to walk through although we should have taken a torch (flash light) as you couldn't see where you were going once you got to the middle of the longest one and we kept tripping over. There were also two bridges connecting the tunnels, these I DID NOT like!!! You could feel them moving as you walked over them and on the way back I happened to notice that the steelwork had buckled under one of them. If I had of seen that first there is no way you would have got ...
