Warner Bros Deluxe Tour is one today!! Excited!! Well I started off with good timing. Up, showered and out the door by 8. 2 hours before my tour started. As soon as I left the apartment it all turned to ****. Turning left out of the street wasn't going to happen as peak hour traffic was in full swing. So it took me a while to come back around after turning right. The 101 was just like the M4. Anyway I made it to the studio just under half an hour to spare - ...

The mini movie introduces the history of the studio, informing audiences that Warner Brothers is named for the four founders of the company, Harry, Albert, Sam and Jack Warner. The brothers built up the film company beginning in 1903 and by 1924 had created arguably the most successful independent studio in Hollywood. Until the car is returned there is always the possibility you are going to crash it, and dealing with a car crash in somebody else’s car in another country is not an experience I ever want to discover. Partly because I always refuse the extra insurance the hire companies ...

... guide had up her sleeve. She took us into Studio One. This is the studio in which the Ellen Show is filmed. So, after having been to the show on Wednesday, it was pretty cool to step behind the scenes. There was a catch which was that someone was doing some prep work on the set so we couldn't go all the way in - sigh. However, it was neat to see the set from the back and I am grateful for that opportunity. As usual though, no pictures on sets so nothing ...

... above ground and goes up. We were in the 'up' part. so, with the cameras, mike booms and draping we could mostly see folks from the shoulders or chest down! We were also on the side of the set for the diner scenes so when they were filming in the living room - we were out of luck. Everything is shown on the dozen monitors in front of us but if that's all you see you may as well watch from home. Again, not complaining, just identifying facts!
