    ... was going on. There was a big group (herd?) of elk grazing by the river - plus just one big guy with antlers. I'm not too sure I think maybe the male have the antlers and the female don't?     Wow! What a hike. I can easily say the West Coast Trail has been the toughest hike I have ever done. I know you will hear a different account of the trail from everyone who has hiked it, but this is my version.
