    ... learned that the area of the labrynith was able to survive with no water. Wow!!!! Following this visit to the gardens we headed to manchester to see my sister, brother in law and niece and nephew. The GPS was great and took us on the country roads to avoid the traffic. We enjoyed a wonderful Shabbat dinner together and the kids are having fun playing and catching up. Now for a restful Shabbat Shabbat ...

    Our English adventure has restarted after a days rest upon returning from sunny Eire. We took a maintenance day on June 26th for mental and physical recovery and did more mundane activities such as laundry and shopping and hanging out with Quintin Pomeroy and Rebecca O'Malley whilst the kiddies played with Theo.

    This won't be a long entry. Too exhausted to think of words to describe the long wet working day we just had at the 23 Wigan locks.



    One thing of note: we were held up for a number of hours half way up the flight while lock number 11 and the following pound were emptied in order to fix a gate ...
