      The sky was quite gray most of the afternoon and we ran into a little rain just after Carleton Place where the single lane each way becomes a three lane each way highway into Ottawa.

      Debbie and I went swimming from Moms to Jockos at 7:30 am...lake was flat as a pancake! And half way there it poured rain. Poor Peter had to wear a life jacket over his head to keep dry! But 1 3/4 hour later, and a big dose of calf cramps, we made it to shore and sat in one of the coloured chairs at Jockos!       Too bad we can't have all 4 weeks in same place! But alas every year our 3rd Friday is moving from Fred's 1 bedroom lakefront unit to my 2 bedroom lake view unit.
