The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. I liked this hotel and the price was fair, especially considering that we had a dog. Lots of parking and very accommodating of our SUV and trailer combination. Late check out was granted without extra fee, enjoyed my stay here.

... about 180 miles east on I-80. An easy trip with good weather, gave us plenty of time to see the views. From I-80 we turned northwest on I-55 which took us into the city. As we drove closer, the traffic increased. We had reservations at a motel near O'Hare Airport and good ol Bertha (our GPS) got us there in good order. After relaxing a few hours, we again headed deeper into Chicago to my daughter's house on north Damen Avenue. Our trip ...

... signing them up when no one else was interested. I loved it, and it was another great way to end our second day in Chicago. That night we decided that next morning we'd get up super early to make the most of our last few hours in Chicago. Jill's flight wasn't until later that evening, but I had to leave the city by 11:30am, as the pre ordered shuttle bus to the airport was arriving at my hotel then, even though my flight wasn't until just before 3pm. I had to be there two ...
