We have had our best weather since we arrived at the Weston Vacation Village. High 80's and lots of sun. I just love playing Bingo while in the pool. Flo came over yesterday to join us for some pool fun. Today is another day in paradise. Once again we loss at bingo but won big time in the end. Vacation Village gave us free tickets to the Panther - Jets game. Excellent seats 10th row from ice on the blue line. ...

Day 9, Fort Lauderdale

... so avoided all the large queues. Not like 2 years ago where we queued for nearly 3 hours. They have improved it no end. A short taxi ride and we were at Ft Lauderdale beach which was lovely, just as we remembered it. The sun was out and the temperature was on the up (not good in jeans). ... the famous elephant who painted with its trunk ! We couldn't make out what these splodges of colour were meant to represent. There was some clever handiwork like a jewellery maker and one which made sculptures out of wire, one piece was of a man stood up taking a pee. In all, it was thoroughly interesting and this place also offered development programs, workshops and classes by professionals.
