      ... that gave up their 14 room farm house and have lived in their van for 12 years. Well we happened to meet them by chance again here in Silves and have done a few things together. Went to a new years eve party, typically Portugese, we were the only foreigners. The food was terrible but all the wine free and the dancing great.       ... and have been living in a van for 12 years also arrived in Silves yesterday. So we have booked to go out for Christmas lunch together so we wont feel quite so lonely.
      Silves is also an ancient town with moors and Christians fighting since Noah,s time. Although there are lots of people in the camp, the town is not that touristy.       ... is low season, almost every beach was deserted. Though the water was still too cold to go in without a wetsuit, it remained refreshing and pleasant to dive into. I didn't expect to fully dive into the water to be honest, but a good ol' surprise wave flipped our kayak sending that idea out to sea.
