This morning when we went to breakfast I was not feeling well. I had some nauseau and found it very hard to swallow. I got ready for the day because we were headed down the coast to another seaside town. Our route rap showed some beautiful rolling hills along the coast then a climb to head back down. We started out and I was feeling a little better. Once we started some climbing a few miles in a had to stop because I felt so thirsty. Once I drank ...

We packed our bags to head south today and enjoyed a full buffet of breakfast food. Leaving the hotel on bikes we started a crazy descent with many switchbacks. It is alot like descending from highlands to franklin. It was 3.5 miles so i had to stop several times to rest my hands from gripping the brakes. They warned us you can lose control when your hand gets to tired to grip and I was ...

Our day begins early as we trek our luggage down to Hotel Reina Isabelle to meet our guides. It is easy to spot our group wearing lots of biking gear. We have 21 bikers mostly from the east coast. This includes three families, two single women and four couples. We have a 50 minute bus trip to the south of the island to begin our ride. We arrive in Tejada for a lunch at a quant pub. This is our first meal featuring platters of salad, olives, cheese, ...

... the patio and then packed up all our things. We weren't being picked up by the coach to go to the airport until 12.30 so we had time to have a walk and take in the Canarian sun and enjoy the warmth before returning to the cold weather of Britain. The coach arrived on time and after doing pick ups from various resorts we drove to the airport, going through customs was painless and quick, no sooner had we finished our lunch we were called ...

... 30 mintues. We parked and started the thike up the top. The hike was about 45 mintues to 1 hour. There were lots of poeple doing it. The wind was extremely hard and cold, but we still made it up. The Roque Nublo is an Earthcache, and we found 2 other Geocaches, 1 under the Roque and one at the beginnning of the trail. The view was very nice, altghough it seemed that were inside a mssive cloud for mot of the time.
