    ... heat there is a lake here with water in it, this is due to a huge rainstorm that occurred a few days ago, at the dam, we first see a large male long horned sheep, he is climbing up these very precarious rocks and then we come across a flock/herd of female sheep and there young, they are in more of a pasture area, we can though still see the large male, perched on top of rocks near here too, keeping an eye on his flock.     ... had to explain it all to me. It was a great view, if you could stop being blow off the mountain..
    We ventured on further to see many more cactus and Joshua trees and massive crops of all sorts of rocks.

    Woke up at 3:00 for some reason and had a rough time going back to sleep… no nightmares this time thankfully. Then it was time to get up around 5:00 and shower. We departed at 5:30 for Sossusvlei. My group was comprised of Pia (a Swiss girl), Beth (a British girl), Ali (an Italian girl and my current roomie), and myself.     ... was short-lived, as I gather the coming week's novel and material together to read on the flight home.

    My last few days at home went by in a blur. Laundry, cleaning, and ice cream with my sisters were some highlights, obviously! I was touched at Grace's goodbye: "See you in 8 weeks, Sarah! Its SO long, but we'll be here!"

    I cannot believe that only 8 weeks remain in my European Adventure. And, My! What adventures ahead!
