... very beautiful.
Once we made our way to the hilltop, we had two options. Either take the gondola or hike the 2871 feet (875 meters) to the summit of Mont Tremblant mountain. Being a beautiful day, we elected to hike. The pathway looked so tempting. Therefore off we went.
Beautiful scenes were opening in front of us. Water cascading off the mountain, trees with their richly coloured leaves, beautiful pathways, everything was ...
... on which was cool. We went up the cable car thing which provided great views of the area, which took us up to what I assume was a piste - I've never skiied before, but as it was Mont Tremblant I guess that's it!! Obviously it wasn't in use for skiing at the time as there was no snow, but I hope to return in the winter, as the lady I live with (Renee) used to be a ski instructor, and the man I live ...

Okay well let me just tell you that today will be extremly short because not only did we spend 10 HOURS DRIVING, i slept and listened to music through most of it. So first thing the grils and I haeded down for some breaky and heidi hit the pool. I had to through her crocks in teh deep end of the pool to get her to swim haha. We got on teh road at about 10:40ish but stopped to get dad some clothes at LLBean while heidi and I wasted our ...
Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada mckelsos... laurentian mountains for the weekend. So we (and by we I mean I) priced out rental cars, found us a hostel and made the arrangements and by 5pm we were on the road. And it was an amazing experience! I'm so glad we didnt just stay home and do really nothing in Trois-Riviéres. We kind of doddled, and accidentally found a Harley Davidson store which was miraculously open ...
Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada ashleekt... and we were greeted with a 'Bienvenue chez vous', how much more friendly can you get?! We loved our days of skiing so much that as we collapsed for a late afternoon nap we'd always promise ourselves to go to night skiing. Realistically, however, our muscles were just too exhausted to do any more so we spent our nights dining on French food with live accordion music or eating sushi in front of the fireplace. Quite a romantic way to spend St. Valentine's day.

Piedmont, Quebec, Canada aildoux... was just to do it. So we did. That's right we did our first Canadian BLACK RUN!!!!! The rest of the day we chose to stick to blue runs and we were getting pretty good by the end of the day and we were absolutely flying down the mountain carving our way down. For the record I only fell over twice once after I stopped (go figure) and the other was getting off the ski lift where my skis got tangled with someone else's skis.
Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada dkjohansen... winds, so I kept to all the popular trails, with my mobile phone on in case I needed assistance. I stopped for some hot chocolate at 11am and somehow or other, dropped my black snakes. Vale you great goggles! I planned to go back to the car and get my bug eyed summer goggles, when I met a couple of engineers, from Cornwall as it transpired, and skied with them until I couldn't bear the ice in my eyes any more. It was good for the company ...
