... town to complete some more provisioning.
This being the final leg of this sailing season we need to ensure we have enough to see us through as there are not going to be many more provisioning opportunities in the next (less than) two weeks.
There's not that many opportunities down the east coast to either anchor or go into marina's – there's going to be a couple of long passages – i.e. much more than 5 miles, coming up.

If Northern Corsica was about absolution, Southern Corsica was quite the opposite. Catching up with old friends over a week in Porto Vecchio, Southern Corsica was always going to be great fun and it didn't disappoint. A few extra crimes might have even been committed.

Marc & Trine Wait have been friends almost as long as we have been together. We have shared 20 years of Tokyo Shock Boys, Prawn Fans at Chinese Restaurants, ...

... supermarket. Found one in the resort but it was closed. Decided to have some lunch ashore, which wasn't bad and then just chilled in the afternoon.

Today moved further east and a little south. The coast line is just something (rewind and
press play!!!). The scenery as we were approaching our next destination is just magnificent – mountains in the background.

Anchored just outside the marina (Connigione) and ventured ashore ...

... a great sail in to
our destination. I know I say this a lot about the coastlines we pass but the Sardinian coast is something special even from a distance from shore.
We got to the Bonifacio Straights where we had the mountains of Sardinia on the
starboard side and the mountains of Corisca on the port side of us.
The anchorage we chose to stay in only had two other yachts, so quite peaceful ...

... killed us, but by the time we are organised it is close to 11am! We walk slowly down the road;it's so steep you have to lean back to walk down safely. We get to the Devils bridge and take photos on the bridge and looking down. We tell our group that we are walking all the way down below but a few that have knee issues decide to wait it out under a shady tree. The rest of us walk down to the gorge and arrive at the ...
