We only have one full day in Bonifacio, arriving late yesterday afternoon, and leaving tomorrow morning for a couple of days in the northern mountains of Corsica. So today had to be the day we experienced as much as we could. We had checked out boat tours (no name tags, no numbered stickers on our shirts!!) to get have a look at Bonifacio from the water. There are a multitude of tours to pick from, some all-dayer's ...

... what they were eating, what did it sound like??? We had plenty of space to wander around and be amazed by this place, only a few other people there and no tour groups. On the Sunday we spent the whole day at the beach and I finally tried stand up paddle boarding (though it was a bit choppy) and Stew & Mitch took out a ...

We LOVE Sardinia. It is a very beautiful place, the coastline and beaches are fabulous. Today started off promising a repeat of yesterday's weather - perfect blue skies to match the water and 29 degrees. Just right for experiencing what this part of Sardinia has to offer. I am writing this at the end of our day. We have just driven about 7k's down the road to a place called Portisco. We have parked the car and have walked ...

... here, but the ones we visited are lovely, in little coves, looking out to islands just off the coast, and being a Sunday and an absolutely perfect day (28 degrees at 11am) lots of boats on the water. Driving from coastal village to coastal village was a lot like the Great Ocean Road. There are gum trees here so that helps with the feel. At one point we both thought that it was just like part of the drive to ...
