Today we set off on a longer day trip to see Devil's bridge. To be fair, the trip was great, and Devil's bridge was nice to see, but it was a heck of a trip to get there !! Not helped by our satnav which decided to take us on a 10km detour only to bring us back to where we ...

We managed to get there just in time to enjoy the sunset too which was ...

We were shown to our room which was fine and had a large balcony with partial sea view. The man who checked us in did not speak or understand a word of English and, ...

... over the train journey but it transpired that rather like the UK there were engineering works on the line just outside Taranto. It meant getting off the stop before and climbing on board a bus. It was only a 10 minute ride and our connection wasn't for an hour so we had plenty of time. The train then from Taranto to Salerno was 4 hours and on time, so plenty of time to sit back and enjoy the views. I also read a little and wrote some of my blog. ...
