We also drove up to Maratea to the large statue of Jesus the Redeemer, 2nd largest in the world.
its about a 30 min drive from Praia and it's a winding road all the way up up up up.
Once you get all the way up you catch a bus to the statue as the road juts out over the cliffs. It's a scary ride so high up.
