July 17, 2015 Turunc to Dalyan

Frustration and a definite tinge of sadness sum up the first part of the day. The frustration revolved around poor internet connections when we had some business matters which needed attention. The sadness was because we were sitting inside whilst the family enjoyed the pool during our last few precious hours at the Loryma. ... there is a selection of “slow cooked” dishes which have to be ordered 3 hours beforehand. She quite happily let Paul bring a menu back to the hotel so we could have a look. Needless to say we’ve been there more than once – tonight for the slow cooked options. These are local dishes which have to be ordered at least 3 hours in advance.

... choice for our last evening meal. We had enjoyed other dishes but the speciality dishes requiring "slow cooking" definitely needed to be sampled. We pre – ordered a lamb dish cooked in a clay pot and Serife’s personal favourite, a chicken bake. These were supplemented by meze, a chicken cooked in an iron pan and a mince pancake.

... But sadly we do have to eventually drag ourselves away and get back to our loungers for an hour or so before the British Grand Prix starts at three o'clock local time.
One red light, two red lights, three, four, five... out and go, go, go...!!! But not the best start for Lewis, pole position soon turns into second place as Philipe flashes past, followed by third place soon after when Valteri also gets through after a failed attempt by Lewis to retake ...
