    ... o'clock I headed back to my hotel and got some lunch on the way back from the Steak 'n Shake restaurant. The food there was really good and they staff provided me with great customer service, always asking how my meal was ans refilling my drinks unasked which is really different from Australia since the waiters here kinda live off the tips so good service means a better tip for them

    ... straight roads that went on for hours in desolate rocky scenery before bussing down to Vegas for some tackyness that wasn't really my cup of tea! Met my host Micah (whose mostly deaf hearing made him impersonate my accent by the end of the week together) and Dom and Alichja from Czech Republic and Poland respectively - had a road trip planned, which didn't exactly go to original itinerary but still got to visit Death Valley, Route 66, Sedona in Arizona and a very cloudy Grand ...

    ... and get us booked in to the BBB, she took my phone number and said she'd call me later. I was totally amazed at the fact she seemed to care, I had called the reservations number in the morning and the girl on the other end didn't even say "I'm sorry to hear they are sick" let alone try to do anything for us, I haven't heard from Jessica, so I guess she hit a dead end, but how nice of her to try for us and it's just one of those things.

    ... Rooms were a little dated, but clean and comfortable. We knew that we wouldn't be spending much time in the room as we only had two days for the parks. we had tossed up between this resort and the Hard Rock and chose this one as it was a little less expensive, and also I had read allot of other reviews about the Hard Rock resort being quite noisy. This one suited us well.
