    As seen as it was nearly my birthday, Scott decided to check me into the Ramada Beach Resort in Varca for a bit of luxury. It certainly was that, it even had a bath and hair dryer, it was heavenly. I cant really say much about Varca as we spent most of our time in the resort eating and sleeping , we had a beach view which was fantastic to wake up to.     ... train arrived, we saw B1 but there was no sign of carriage B3. Terrie told John to get onto his carriage before the train left. Terrie ran to the other end of the long train and finally found B3 which was probably separated from carriage B1 by 12 or so carriages! John was pleased to receive a text from Terrie that she had got onto the train as it pulled away from Madgaon station. Tours generate a lot of revenue for hotels and restaurants, as they are used again and again by the tour operator, so they have a vested interest in your satisfaction. It's okay to speak up, but pick your battles wisely, don't be a whiner and don't get too attached to the outcome.
