      As seen as it was nearly my birthday, Scott decided to check me into the Ramada Beach Resort in Varca for a bit of luxury. It certainly was that, it even had a bath and hair dryer, it was heavenly.       ... to snuff. In most cases, your guide can remedy the situation. Tours generate a lot of revenue for hotels and restaurants, as they are used again and again by the tour operator, so they have a vested interest in your satisfaction. It's okay to speak up, but pick your battles wisely, don't be a whiner and don't get too attached to the outcome. Not all your experiences can be amazing and the worst often make the best stories later on!

Started running with Sarah, not sure this was my brightest idea, went twice though and am still alive and my lungs are just about intact so will try and keep it up.       ... the heat, as we watched another beautiful sunset! We headed back to swim at the longest swimming pool in Goa. Our room opens up the swimming pool, yet another amazing part of our stay! We ended our day with a great meal at the local restaurant. Imagine huge prawns sautéed in butter garlic!! Yum yum! Looking forward to wedding ...
