      ... just before running off the edge of a cliff, Jay thinks it was just a ploy to get resecured by the mountain guides, however it did get her heart pumping a little extra. Once the snow had finished we still had to walk down for another hour or so. We finished off the day with a chat with our new climbing mates and a beer or two at the tour company’s office (Aguaventure), whom provide a fantastic day.

      ... aerial zip lining which was very cool. The final 'rest day' was the activity everyone comes to Pucón to do, hike the Villarica volcano, it has to be done in a guide-led group with ice axes, crampons and hard hats. It was going so well, we were the first group up the mountain but as we neared the top our leader decided to stop short due to the amount of toxic gases being belched out ...
