Then we thought we might drive into the town of Datça. We finally agreed on Knidos. We were in Knidos 10 years ago when Eric was three. A lot has been done ...

There seem to be no car parks here or parking tickets as zebra crossings, corners, roundabouts and pavements are a free for all. I went into the archaeological centre and me at six euro it was steal. Gerry and Ruth chose an overview of the local sea life, courtesy of the aquarium, followed by a dip in the ocean and a stroll in the Medieval City.

My last trip to Greece was just after I graduated from university - 40 plus years ago. Much ...

October 7. Off we go a'wandering along the streets of the Medieval Town. This site covers a large area near the waterfront in Rodos (Rhodes Town) and we cover just a small portion of it. We find some lovely green spaces. There is a moat that surrounds the city and was the scene of many battles over the years. War is not a new phenomenon; over the years, many lives were lost in what is now a very ...
