... 6 people suspended from a heavy wire. Surprisingly smooth. Views are pretty awesome. We were lucky as it had cleared up and we could see a very long way. Got to see the seven waterfalls from above, quite spectacular.
A nice trip down with new people (hilariously again from Adelaide and Perth) and found they were heading to Singapore and then Cambodia. Although a cruise isn't our thing they were definitely enjoying it and it seems to be a good way to see Asia ...

3rd Port in 3 days and 3rd alarm :-( Set for 8 but we were awake before then with the noise as we are our side to shore today. We'd arranged to meet E&P for breakfast in the restaurant around half 8 but we were all there early so we ended up going ashore for the shuttle bus around 9:15. The port talk had over exaggerated things again, instead of struggling with only 4 buses on the jetty there were 20 when we got off. We were straight onto ...

... I loved how simple it was and the view overlooking local life as it went past. Anita on the overhand was worried about things getting in the room through the gaps in the wall where louvers were missing. So I sadly compromised and we got concrete accommodation for the next few nights.

The sun doesn’t rise until about 7.20am there at the moment so I got up and watched the sun rise every morning. I saw the best sunrise from our first basic accommodation, with it rising ...
