A freshwater lake surrounded by high cliffs, which just so happened to look like that of a pregnant lady lying down (I guess where the name comes from?). A quick dip in there, and back on the boat.

We met a lovely girl on the trip from Leeds, who had been travelling around SE Asia by herself for a ...

We had decided to take the shuttle bus from the ship to the nearby beach resort of Pantai Cenang, a journey of only ten minutes. However, we had to wait until some of the tour buses had departed because the cruise terminal ...

... included scrumptious coconut and sweet potato fritters, a lesson to never converse with stray cats again and a boat trip where I was smacked in the face by my own bosom as the boat travelled at 100 knots. We visited the Dayang Bunting national park on Beras Besah island via boat. The landscape was astonishing and offered another side to Malaysia, rivalling the limestone formations at Krabi with eagles all around us and unexploited ...
