... some of the lost and damaged fishing gear and got some other odds and sods for the boat. Today we are on the scooter seeing what we missed by bike. The tides are pretty crazy right now – some of the highest and lowest we’ve seen, and we got stuck in the mud in the dinghy on our return yesterday, so we will try and be back to the boat a bit earlier today. ... went back to sleep for a bit. We had to rethink our route to The Cameron Highlands, it was a big waste of valuable time. We came up with an idea and after something to eat we called for a taxi and headed to the pier. Along the way we chatted with the driver about our travels, he gave us some great tips and advice including that if we were limited for time then he wouldn't recommend The Cameron Highlands!
