    We continued following our guide to Beautiful Villages of Provence and were never disappointed. Impossibly quaint and generally tiny - 5 minutes to explore each one! We saw very few people and the roads were quiet.

    ... at how soft the snow was- just like Fairy floss. We drove on towards Grenoble and then Gap where we were staying the night. We drove through the most amazing picturesque scenery. Towering mountains and old fortresses either side as we moved along the valleys. Just stunning.

    The hotel we stayed in was in a good location with the host being very friendly, he reminded us of Gabriel Gate. Gap was a gorgeous little town easily explored by foot from just outside the hotel.
